Bill Components
Energy Charge: Calculated based on cumulative consumption slabs.
Service Charge: Fixed monthly fee based on your meter's Ampere rating.
Rebate: 2% discount if paid within 7 days of meter reading.
Penalty: Additional charges if bill is paid after the 15th day.
Rebate & Penalty Schedule
1-7 Days: 2% Rebate on total amount.
8-15 Days: Net amount (No rebate, no penalty).
16-30 Days: 5% Penalty applies.
31-40 Days: 10% Penalty applies.
41+ Days: 25% Penalty applies.
Disconnection Notice
According to NEA rules, if a bill remains unpaid for more than 60 days, the authority reserved the right to disconnect the power supply without further notice.
Reconnect fees apply after disconnection.
